One of the greatest desires of the Lighthouse Baptist Church is to fulfill our Lord’s mission for His churches, to obey the command in fulfilling the Great Commission. Our vision is to reach a lost world with the life-giving gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Knowing the gospel is the power of God unto salvation.. The gospel is the greatest distinction in the church.
Our vision is to reach and influence a world in need of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:18, “Where there is no vision, the people perish:” Here at Lighthouse Baptist Church, we have a biblical vision for reaching those in need of Jesus Christ.
The means by which we mean to make a difference in our world is illustrated in the Bible in Acts 1:8:
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” We desire to be responsible witnesses by reaching out to others in our hometown, our state, our nation, and our world. We do this is in many ways, from personal outreach, to helping to prepare and send men into outreach ministries, as well as financially supporting for missionaries and ministries around the world.
