History of Our Church
Our church was started in the summer of 1995 by a handful of people with a burden to start a New Testament church in Sandusky, Ohio. Our church was started under the authority of Grace Baptist Church of Middletown, Ohio and Pastor Roger Green. The Man of God who answered the call to pastor our church was Pastor Greg Mann with his wife Wendy. At this time Lighthouse Baptist Church was organized the 1st Sunday, December, 1995, at which time it became an independent, autonomous local church. During this time the church grew steadily and surely in the Word of God.
Our Mission
Lighthouse Baptist Church has been aggressive in its desire to grow in a biblical and God-honoring manner. It is our desire to fill up the current sanctuary and add on in the future as the Lord leads. Our church has always been one with vision to build a scriptural church that will bring honor and glory to God.
Meet Our Pastor’s
Pastor Richard C. Mick
In November of 1999, the church called Richard C. Mick to its pastorate. Pastor Mick , along with his wife Karen, and children, moved from Indianapolis, Indiana
Assistant Pastor Joel Capizzi
In April of 2007, Assistant Pastor Joel Capizzi joined our staff with his wife Deanna and son Nathan.
